Summer Camp
‘Summer Camps 2026’ will be running through July and August at our newly given camp site in Ishull Lezhe, Albania. Just 2 miles from the beach (Vain) and 2 miles in the other direction to the main town of Lezhe.
Our 'Kampi Aventura' this year will be a residential camp, for approximately 42 campers, aged between 9–13 year olds from mostly ‘unchurched’ backgrounds, (20th-25th July). Its focus will be outreach and life skills, with all the usual excitement and fun activities.
What to expect
By joining us this summer you will have the opportunity to serve the children of Albania. You will be part of a hard-working and dedicated team of people who want to see these children enjoy exciting, fun-filled weeks full of adventure, bible studies and having a great time with each other and God. Our aim is to match your gifts and experience with the needs of the camp so that we all get the most out of time. Tasks will range from helping in the kitchen to leading the various activities, from swimming and sports to arts and crafts etc., there will be a broad range of possibilities for you to be involved with. Some down time is programmed into the day. You will become tanned and tired! But we know you will be greatly rewarded by seeing the results and the joy you will bring to the children.
Dates
You would need to arrive in Albania on Saturdays, as Sunday is the camp set up and orientation day, and depart from the evening of the following Saturday, flights depending.
Adventure camp children arrive Monday 20th-25th July.
Costs
The food and accommodation for the week of camp, will be approximately £170 /$235 per person for 7 days. Plus group* costs, including in-county transport, £60 /$85. Total of all in-country costs = £230/$320*. (*based of a team of 8 people).
Once all the arrangements are finalised we will be able to give you the exact price.
Other costs: A small sum of spending money. You will need to arrange your own flights to Tirana, and provide your own travel/medical insurance.
